Flashback to this joy of a book that I read around this time in 2023 🥰
•
Oh, what a good start! This book sucks you in and then keeps you guessing throughout.
•
From Tyme deciding to crash her ex’s wedding, to finding an uneasy alliance with her ex’s twin brother, Midnight, it’s a whole lot of story.
•
But, the primary point is “hurt people, hurt people”. Midnight and Tyme could have been the couple getting married if Midnight hadn’t acted like a F-boy 3 years ago. Tyme always wondered why she and Midnight didn’t work but she didn’t dwell on it because she found her joy in Malachi, or so she thought.
•
When Tyme and Midnight link back up, neither expects sparks. But there is a thin line between love and hate and it seems these 2 never really hated each other to begin with. There’s lot of passion, drama, inventive sex. All the markings of an engaging book.
