I was all set to give this book 4 stars. It was good and I enjoyed it, but did I love it? Welp, I knew I needed to upgrade the rating when I finished it and damn near reread the book again immediately after! The dialogue, banter and character growth between Aaliyah and Von was incredibly well done.

Devyn is a Nurse Practitioner who needs to finish a 1 year internship to get her certifications. Unfortunately, she’s working under Dr Joseph Wright who seems to push all her buttons. He’s cocky and arrogant…while also being too handsome for words. She just wants to finish this internship without causing anyone bodily harm.

I wanted to read this book from the moment I read the summary and I’m thankful that I didn’t delay. It was a joy and delight from start to finish. You will be sucked into this book from the beginning with laughter and sadness.
