Pulling Doubles by Christina C Jones

I knew I was going to like Devyn and Joseph. They didn’t overlap much on book 1 but I had a feeling that they would be fun to read.

Devyn is a Nurse Practitioner who needs to finish a 1 year internship to get her certifications. Unfortunately, she’s working under Dr Joseph Wright who seems to push all her buttons. He’s cocky and arrogant…while also being too handsome for words. She just wants to finish this internship without causing anyone bodily harm.

Joseph is confident with his work, understands the value of nurses, but Devyn just pushes all his buttons. She doesn’t back down, is super smart and has great bedside manner. But, he has a rule about dating people at work (understandably), so he’ll continue to keep her at arms length even if that’s not what he really wants.

Their back and forth is believable and magnetic. You know it’s only a matter of time before both their walls crumble down. Add in drama by past relationships coming to haunt them and there are moments when you’re not sure how it’s going to go. But, Devyn and Joseph get their minds right and choose each other.

It also doesn’t hurt that the sexy sexy times are HOT. Ms Jones knows how to write a sex scene. Whew chile!

I am enjoying this series and will continue on to read about brother #3.
