I randomly came across this book while scrolling through IG and I’m so thankful that I did. I was looking for a holiday romance (‘tis the season and all) and this book did not disappoint!

This is a story about the North Pole told in an unexpected way. In this story Tiffany, aka Mrs Claus, stays the same and Santa changes out. You see, dead men who are deemed worthy by angels are allowed to interview to be Santa. They can stay on as long as they want or they can opt to retire or move on to heaven if they have a loved one that calls to them. Tiffany is the thread that keeps everything running. She’s more than competent but after years of being with men that she was friends with, had affection for, she’d like to find a Santa that she can love and would love her back.

Dominic was a firefighter who was killed on his way to fire. He’s now given the option to either go directly to heaven or try out for Santa. He chooses the latter but finds there are 5 other men he is in direct competition with. But, as soon as he sees Tiffany, he feels this immediate pull towards her and vows to do everything he can to come out on top.

Now, because this is a Rebekah Weatherspoon book, you know the main female character is going to be a big beautiful black woman and Tiffany is no different. She’s gorgeous, loves her body and dresses in a way to accentuate her curves. And the men love what they see. She’s hopeful that she can find the man to show her love and the fact that her eyes keep leading her to Dominic could be a good sign.

It’s also because it’s a Rebekah Weatherspoon book that I know the sexy sexy times were going to be on point. It was funny, tender and hot. The women are always well taken care of and everyone leaves satisfied!

There were some twists and turns, as any good romance does, but it ends with everyone being happy. Definitely recommend this story.
