I read the sample of this book a month before and eagerly awaited the official drop. I didn’t realize this was the 3rd book until I was halfway through and I can’t wait to read those either.

This book has all the feels: sadness, joy, anger, excitement, fear, love. And it’s wrapped up in 2 plus-sized main characters. It’s always a good time to see black women loved properly. It’s even better to see a man, a professional athlete no less, not play about his lady and willing to do what it takes to keep her safe, happy and in his life. And the sexy sexy times? Whew chile! No notes!

I had a few quibbles about this book that caused frustration but they were understandable given the FMC backstory. I also don’t know if you need to read these books in order. While I didn’t feel lost, I do feel the context/history of the 3 girlfriend’s relationships would have added to my better appreciating the story.
