What a fun, quick read about missed opportunities and second chances. This novella is high on the angst and relatively low on the sexy sexy times (at least for a Kennedy Ryan book 😏) but it’s still a fully formed story about what when you answer “what if”.

For Naomi and Toure the time was never quite right. She was dating someone or he was. And, when it looked like they might get an opportunity to try, Toure left for Paris his senior year of college and then life happened.

But, when everyone returns for their college reunion and centennial celebration, it looks like the stars are aligned for Naomi and Toure to finally get their shot. Both are highly successful in their fields and now might be the chance they get to see if they can really be a couple.

As I mentioned, this is a very quick, cute read. Definitely something you can pick up to beat back a reading slump and make you smile.
