I purchased this book back in 2020 but who knows when I actually got around to reading it the first time 🤷🏽♀️ Anywho, I picked up book 2 to read today (which I purchased as a birthday gift to myself back in April) and decided to reread book 1 to reintroduce myself to this world. I’m so glad I did!

This book was crazy, dramatic, sexy, over the top and I enjoyed every bit of it! The relationship between Jo and Everett was a lot to take in but it was never boring.

I mean, between their scheming ex-spouses, their kids and the joys and pain of being in the public eye it was nonstop madness. They handled the discussion/manifestation of depression very well and behaved (for the most part) like grown people in a grown relationship.

You truly get a bit of everything. Especially sex. There’s a lot of hot sex and I’m here for it! You’ll never look at pineapple the same 😉 I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series to get to know Everett’s siblings better.
