This book is a quick read not only because its relatively short but because it will have you smiling from ear to ear. Yes the main characters can be ridiculous, but the banter is fun and addictive.

Josephine is a successful YA author who is looking to branch out into romance because “that’s where the long money is”! The problem is that she doesn’t have enough non-vanilla sex stories to reference. If she’d going to make this book believable, she’s got to get some experience. ASAP!

Caleb has been best friends with Josephine since college. They’ve never crossed the line because, as a foster kid, he’d rather keep her as a friend than lose her. Even though he’s a successful football player, he still holds onto those insecurities. So, when he hears about Josephine’s dilemma, he immediately offers to help. What’s the worst that could happen?

What could be awkward and dragged on for chapters was resolved in a couple pages. Because of their history, it made sense that there would be comfort and familiarity, even if they’ve never had sex together. And let me tell you, once it gets started, it’s great. The author knows their way around a sexy sexy times and it’s funny, hot and believable.

I have now read 3 books by this author and I need more. In particular, I need the back story of Josephine’s sister and Caleb’s teammate!
