The first chapter of this book pulled me in and I knew I was going to love it. It starts off with a woman trying to find her way out of an unhappy and unequal marriage and ends with said woman finding out that there is so much life to live.

Grayson was a clothes designer, making a name for herself, before her husband convinced her to give it up so they could start a family. It isn’t until they’ve been married for 6 years and sees his affection turning towards an ex that she realizes her marriage isn’t serving her anymore. With the help of her divorce lawyer, Xavier, she fights to get everything she deserves…and also fights her feelings for the sexy man who is helping her.

Xavier is a great lawyer. He’s good at wining for his clients and is able to craft compelling arguments. He’s never been attracted to a client until he meets Grayson. He's able to quickly see that her heart hasn’t been well taken care of and there’s something about her that he wants to protect.

As Grayson and Xavier figure out if anything could happen between them after her divorce, Xavier shows her what it would look like to be adored and cherished by a partner. Grayson hadn’t realize how much emotional abuse she had experienced with her ex until sees how good a relationship could be. And the sexy sexy times is a VERY good time! Xavier adores her from top to bottom and is not shy with his affection.

I now want to know if there are stories about the rest of Grayson’s cousins or Xavier’s brothers and best friend because I would devour those books, too.
