Yo. This is messy. Like messy MESSY!

Ok. First off, be aware that this book involves cheating. Would I normally condone or finish a book that centers around cheating? Emphatically no. However, once you get into this book, it starts to make sense and you might start to think “she deserves some happiness in whatever package it comes in”. So reserve your judgment just a little bit!

Astoria is a marriage therapist. She has worked hard on becoming a doctor and is great at her job. The irony is that her own ho,e love is in shambles. She has 2 girls with a man who proposed/married her to attone for his sins. He had a son out of wedlock and she’s been dying a slow death ever since. She’s tired of not feeling wanted and in appreciated but is it enough to leave her husband?

Bray is the CEO of a family hospitality dynasty. He’s been secretly married to a popular radio DJ for years. He didn’t mind being a secret and living separately because he loved his wife. But when he catches her getting her black blown out by an up and coming and coming rapper, the love dies immediately. She wants to try and fix it but he’s not convinced he’ll ever trust him again.

When Astoria and Bray’s path cross, it seems that fate has provided them an opportunity to get a reset. Yes, they’re still married to other people but it’s not happily and they’re getting divorced, so…(shrugging emoji)!

Of course it’s not simple. Of course it’s messy as hell. And of course it takes a long to even see how a happily ever after is even possible, but when it gets going, it gets great! And the sexy sexy times? Babee! Let’s just say, it’s worth the wait.

I’m going to continue with the series to read more about Astoria’s sister and best friend and also Bray’s brothers. It should be a messy good time!
