This is a two parter so be prepared to read both! I enjoyed them but it is MESSY boots. An engaging ready but know that there is some editing challenges.

Ok. First off, be aware that this book involves cheating. Would I normally condone or finish a book that centers around cheating? Emphatically no. However, once you get into this book, it starts to make sense and you might start to think “she deserves some happiness in whatever package it comes in”. So reserve your judgment just a little bit!

This book was a crazy good time and I enjoyed reading about Menace and Stevie.

We finally get Hendrix's story and how her relationship with Maverick starts. Y'all. This book is SOOOO good!

Francesca is the oldest daughter from a Toronto mafia family. She’s a bit of a wild child but has helped raise her sisters since their mother died many years ago. She has plans to attend college now that’s she’s graduated high school, so she is understandably surprised and mortified to hear that she’s betrothed to the son of a mafia king in Italy. She doesn’t want go to Italy, doesn’t want to get married and is not interested in having kids right now.

This book ends in a cliffhanger, so you’ve been sufficiently warned. Thankfully all of the books are available, but prepare yourself now for reading the entire set.
