Mafia Darling by Mila Finelli

Updated: Sep 15

Yo. This book was some crazy craziness. Hold on because this starts off where the last one ended and it’s shenanigans and chaos. We already know that Francesca was kidnapped and now Fausto is beside himself trying to get her back. Everyone was already annoyed with him for sending her away in the first place and now that she’s taken? A man who prides himself on not feeling guilt or second guessing his decisions is full of regret.

As the story progresses and (obviously) Francesca is found, the story pivots to Fausto having to re-earn her trust, trying to figure out who’s going after his family and keep everyone alive.

I enjoyed the book but Francesca still annoyed me. She’s admitted she’s young and doesn’t understand this world and yet at almost every turn makes poor choices, doubts Fausto knows what he’s talking about and puts herself in harms way too many times.

Fausto in all his mafia glory is thinking too much with his dick but can admit that he can be a bit more flexible in his thinking.

And don’t even get me started on Francesca’s sisters when they come to visit as they are 2 sheltered and annoying girls who (like their older sister) make poor decisions based on naivety and no critical thinking.

Anywho, I’m not sure I’ll read the next books but I did enjoy these first 2.
