You’ll enjoy this series but, again, be mindful of the trigger warning.

This is a novella that reads like a full story. But, I find that romance novellas are always easier to believe when the characters have some history. That way, we don’t really need to deal with the first meetings, etc.
*
Anywho, Kareema is a 40+ mother, grandmother and business owner. She’s begrudgingly attending her high school reunion where she’s supposed to meet up with her best friend. When she’s nowhere to be found, she finds a table with empty seats and gets reacquainted with another classmate that had a notorious reputation.
*
Set was always fighting. From people genuinely messing with him to anyone who looked at him or his brothers wrong. He’s regretting coming back for this reunion until Kareema sits down at his table. He’s surprised she stays once he introduces himself. He remembers her, always thought she was pretty but was aware that she was a “good girl” that needed a “good guy”. He was not that. But, perhaps he had her pegged all wrong.
*
What we see next is a 2 grown people really enjoying themselves. Of course in the bedroom, but also with conversation and flirty banter.
*
Kareema and Set are good together. It’s kinda an opposites attract situation but not really. They’re really just grownups who’ve lived life, know what they want and aren’t shy about asking for it.
*
And, babee. The sexy sexy times is GOOD! Lord. Set is a man that appreciates Kareema’s body and vocalizes it loudly. Kareema, as well, is very effusive in her praise of Set’s body. Considering the length of the story, they sex it up for more than half the book. That’s not a problem for me but you’ve been warned!

5 out o 5 stars/Highly recommend this book. Now on to download the other 2 in this series.
