This was such a feel good book by @kennedyryan1 If you’ve ever gone to an HBCU and/or attending an HBCU reunion, this is like a warm hug. You can tangibly feel the angst and longing between Naomi and Toire, which only adds to the novella.

I read the first book in this novella series YEARS ago. Somehow I made it back and finished the last 2 over the weekend. This book, Touch of Sugar, is book 3 and you are on go from page 1.

Orlando and Ishmia may not look like a match but they’re more alike than they appear. Besides being gorgeous and at the top of their professions, both are wealthy, both are looking for family and both are incredibly principled. And add in that they have crazy chemistry and match each others freak with the sexy sexy times? Whew chile! You will not be disappointed in their story.

20 years is a lot of time to turn over a new leaf though. And the reunion proves to be the perfect time for Set and Kareema to feel each other out. And “feel” they do because BABEE! The bedroom sexy sexy times did not disappoint!

This novella is short, filthy and so much fun. It can get a little long with the exposition but I appreciated that we got to read both points of view.

Only for the Week is a perfectly messy book and great as a palette cleanser.

I'm still not sure I know what I read but imagine a virgin woman who knows what she wants but has not found the right man. Then imagine that the "right man" might be a little crazy and that is just a small sample of what's going on here!

Zoe is sent to Italy to bring back her younger sister, Zahra (book 2). She’s going with her cousin, Shea (book 1) who is acting weird for unknown reasons and they’re trying to retrace Zahra’s location in Italy. Well, if you read the first 2 books, things got real when they ended back at the small pizza shop in Naples from book 1 and that’s when things get fun!

What started as a fake relationship may just be the best thing to happen to Sarita and Mykal.

This is a story about the North Pole told in an unexpected way. In this story Tiffany, aka Mrs Claus, stays the same and Santa changes out.

This book was crazy, dramatic, sexy, over the top and I enjoyed every bit of it! The relationship between Jo and Everett was a lot to take in but it was never boring.

I enjoyed the book but Francesca still annoyed me. She’s admitted she’s young and doesn’t understand this world and yet at almost every turn makes poor choices, doubts Fausto knows what he’s talking about and puts herself in harms way too many times.

Francesca is the oldest daughter from a Toronto mafia family. She’s a bit of a wild child but has helped raise her sisters since their mother died many years ago. She has plans to attend college now that’s she’s graduated high school, so she is understandably surprised and mortified to hear that she’s betrothed to the son of a mafia king in Italy. She doesn’t want go to Italy, doesn’t want to get married and is not interested in having kids right now.

I’m still not sure if I liked this book or not. To say there’s a lot going on is an understatement! We’ve got a high school in the worst neighborhood, teachers that don’t care, administrators giving BJs to other adults in their office 😳, school security that looks the other way and regular fights in the hallway.

This book ends in a cliffhanger, so you’ve been sufficiently warned. Thankfully all of the books are available, but prepare yourself now for reading the entire set.
